I found a new tool that's a really nice addition to gmail. It lets you schedule emails to be sent out in the future and I really love the reminder service that re-delivers the email to you at a requested time. It's the snooze alarm for emails where you need to take some action but don't want to do it now OR take the time to make a task in your to-do application of choice. I've always marked messages as unread as a sort of bookmarking to accomplish the same thing but it seems more productive to pick a specific time and then schedule other emails to flow in and around that time so you're not getting deluged with reminders.
